You’ll be able to find plenty of sports to bet on this weekend at your favorite sportsbook — from college hoops to the NBA, NHL and UFC 283. Look hard enough, and at the American Express golf tournament there will be action.

But the crowd will be there for the Divisional Round of the NFL. The oohs and aahs and deafening crescendos that drown out normal conversation will be for professional football’s failed plays, close calls and official evaluations that are upheld or overturned. That you can certainly bet on.

If you need a quick refresher on the latest odds, here are the latest numbers from Covers.com.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are +8.5 against the Kansas City Chiefs. In total, up to 53 bets have been placed. Game time is 1:30pm. Saturday. Covers have 51 percent of the betting interest on the Chiefs.

The New York Giants are +7.5 to the Philadelphia Eagles. The total reached 53. Game time is 5:15 p.m. on Saturday. According to Covers, two-thirds of the betting profits benefit the Giants.

On Sunday, the Cincinnati Bengals are +5.5 against the Buffalo Bills. The total has dropped from 50 to 48.5. The Bengals draw 65 percent of the bet. There is a slight chance of snow during the game which starts at noon.

The weekend will end with the Dallas Cowboys +4 against the San Francisco 49ers. The total number is 46. Covers says 62 percent of the betting interest is on the Niners.

“So we’re underdogs?” Mike McCarthy, who is 0-3 against San Francisco as head coach of the Cowboys and Packers, asked in an interview Friday. “Four? Wow. OK.”

Game time will be 3:30 p.m., and we’ll go out on a limb and say the book will be filled with empty Bud Light bottles and throwaway tickets by then, but the crowd will still be there.

Other location:

– Skidding Knights: The Vegas Golden Knights host the Washington Capitals at T-Mobile Arena for the weekend with a game on Saturday.

The Knights (25-17-4-2) are coming off a 3-2 loss to the Detroit Red Wings on Thursday. The Capitals have a record of 28-16-1-1.

Coach Bruce Cassidy after Foley’s Finest lost three straight games for the first time this season: “I’m not going to put it down to one thing. Our effort has to improve. … The guys we rely on, they need to improve. be.”

There are no lineups yet for Saturday’s game. But with the same two teams, it’s likely that both teams will end up around -110 overall in round 6.

Despite a 4-5-1 mark in their last 10 games, the Golden Knights are still around +850 to +900 to win the Stanley Cup, trailing only the Boston Bruins, Colorado Avalanche and Carolina Hurricanes.

– Slogging, not running: The UNLV Runnin’ Rebels, locked at the bottom of the Mountain West Conference, will be at Fresno State on Saturday. After impressive non-conference play to start the season, the Rebels find themselves 1-5 in the conference and — by a long shot — in the hunt for the conference leaders.

UNLV recorded a +7 in its 75-71 loss to Utah State and battled back from a 46-37 halftime deficit.

“There are no moral victories,” coach Kevin Kruger told reporters after the game. “We made it clear. At UNLV, there are no moral victories.”

Tipoff for Saturday’s game is at 3:00 p.m. There are no lineups yet.

– UFC 283 Lineup: The odds for a light heavyweight bout between Glover Teixeira and Jamahal Hill at UFC 283 haven’t dropped much. Hill is generally -120 and Teixeira is the money for Saturday’s fight from the Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro. Over/under 1.5 rounds either side is -120.

The time of the fight is 7 pm

– Game of the Week (9-9): After 18 predictions and a hot start to the early football season, we find ourselves right at .500. Not very impressive, is it? But then combine that with your boyfriend who is always whispering in your ear and telling you who he likes. This week, we’re up to 46 on Cowboys-49ers.
