Ba ba doo, ba ba bye bye bye.
Kathryn Dennis has reportedly been fired from “Southern Charm” after starring on the Bravo reality show for eight seasons.
A source told US Sun on Monday that Dennis’ contract was not renewed for season 9 due to several “no-shows” and her behavior towards staff.
“I know Bravo didn’t offer her a contract, but when you treat people as badly as she does, they eventually get sick of it,” the insider claimed. “She doesn’t show up on time or she doesn’t show up at all during filming.”
As “Southern Charm” fans will recall, Denise’s screen time on the show began to decline last season following her split with Chleb Ravenell.
“She treats people like they’re beneath her,” the source told the outlet. “She can’t stand anyone doing better or getting more attention than her.”
The source went on to claim that Bravo even brought in a new producer to “deal with” Dennis’ behavior.
“I know that she has had problems with money and now she does not know how she will work. She’s never had a job,” the insider said. “I’m worried about him, but maybe this is a wake-up call.”
The network tells Page Six it cannot comment on the broadcast at this time.
Viewers have recently been speculating who will make the cut for Season 9, as the series brought in more new cast members last year than ever before.
Popular Instagram account @QueensOfBravo was the first to report that Dennis, 31, may be done and fans don’t seem too happy about it.
“There really isn’t a show without it,” one user commented.
“I won’t watch if Kathryn is gone,” someone else wrote.
“I finished watching and then the closing of the show was over, this is like Micheal [sic] leaving the office for me 😢,” another fan added, referring to Steve Carell’s character on the NBC sitcom.
“Without Kathryn there would be no southern charm. Last season the only good parts were her and Madison,” said another.
Dennis has spent most of her adult life starring on the popular show, starting when she was just 21 years old in 2014. Fans met her as the much younger girlfriend of Thomas Ravenel and she later became became the mother of his two children.
The couple’s tumultuous relationship and custody battles played out during her time on the show. They have daughter Kensington “Kensie”, 8, and son St. Julien “Saint”, 7 years old.
Bravo has not yet announced the cast or premiere date for “Southern Charm” Season 9.
