Oukitel has announced that the WP21 rugged smartphone will have 2 displays at launch. The additional rear-facing screen is the centerpiece of the camera body, which also houses the 64MP main sensor. The WP21 is powered by one of MediaTek’s latest 4G/LTE processors and will launch just before Black Friday 2022.

While some smartphones have large circular multi-lens camera bodies and others may have large speakers, the new Oukitel WP21 has an entire circular secondary display. On the other hand, it has a 6.78-inch display with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz resolution.

Its IP68/IP69K/MIL-STD-810H chassis houses a 9800mAh battery. Other rugged smartphones could do better in this regard; however, Oukitel may have made up for it with unusually fast 66W charging.

However, there is no wireless charging here, although the OEM has introduced a power bank feature in the WP21, which only has 1 12GB RAM/256GB internal storage SKU.

That’s why Oukitel describes its new device as its “dual display flagship“, although its MediaTek Helio G99 processor does not support 5G and will run on Android 12.

Oukitel is currently reviewing its WP21 on AliExpress for $299.99. However, it won’t be released until November 24, 2022, after which the OEM has mentioned incentives like $10 coupons and possibly even a free smartwatch when you order the new smartphone, which is valid until November 29.
